For those who can tolerate maximum strength Glycolic acid peels. Previous peel experience a must.Deep, Professional strength peel.Deep, Professional Strength peel. Previous peel experience a must.
Directions:
Skin peel instructions are included with every order. Apply to gauze, buff skin and rinse after 1-2 minutes. Tolerance may increase with repeated use and application time can then slowly be increased. See more directions below.

NOTE: DO NOT APPLY PEEL SOLUTION MORE FREQUENTLY THAN ONCE EVERY 2 WEEKS

CAUTION: During the peel, you may experience mild to moderate burning or stinging. This is normal and means that the peel is working. CAUTION: If at any time you feel uncomfortable or the skin reacts with excessive redness or stinging, the solution should be washed off immediately with repeated splashes of cold water and/or the neutralizing solution (see below).
  1. Prepare a neutralizing solution: Combine 2 tbsp of household baking soda with 1 cup of tepid water in a small bowl. You should keep this solution near you at all times while performing the peel. It can be used to deactivate the peel while it is on the skin. If you experience severe discomfort while performing the peel, simply splash the neutralizing solution onto your skin to quickly neutralize the peel. You may also fan the skin with a handheld fan to alleviate minor discomfort.
  2. Remove makeup and wash face with a mild cleanser, such as Peel RX Glycolic Cleanser.
  3. Peel RX products are designed for those experienced with skin peeling treatments. If you have limited experience with peels or if you are unsure of your tolerance level, we recommend using one of the lower strength peels and initially leaving the peel on for not more than 20-30 seconds.
  4. Shake peel bottle well. Apply 1-2 ml of peel solution to a gauze pad and apply to face using a mild buffing action. Avoid eye area, lips, and insides of nostrils. Continue gently buffing for 30- 90 seconds. (During Salicylic Peel application, often a frosting of the skin will occur - this is a good indication that the peel is working and care should be taken to not leave the peel on the skin for too long. Rinse with water).
  5. After the peel application, rinse face with cold water and use the neutralizing solution, if necessary. As your tolerance level increases, peel may be left on for longer periods of time, up to 2-3 minutes.
  6. Gently pat face dry with a clean cotton towel. Do not rub skin.
  7. Apply Peel RX Oil-Free Moisturizer or Hyaluronic Moisturizer to soothe and nourish yournew skin.

POST-PEEL INSTRUCTIONS:

CAUTION: During this time following a peel, take care not to pick or irritate the skin. Apply cold water and Peel RX Hyaluronic Moisturizer or Oil-Free Moisturizer as needed.

Immediately after the peel, the skin may be red and blotchy, slightly raised, tight and shiny, or feel sensitive. These are all normal reactions to the peel and symptoms should subside in a few hours or within 1-2 days, in some cases.

Avoid direct sunlight on your face. Be sure to use SPF 25 or higher.

Seven days following the peel, you may resume using the Daily Exfoliator, provided that all residual redness and peeling has subsided. Clean the skin with warm water and a mild cleanser (Green Tea Cleanser). Use fingertips (not a wash cloth) since the skin is very sensitive at this time. Avoid the use of abrasive or exfoliating sponges. After cleansing, pat dry with a clean towel.

Apply moisturizer to keep the exfoliating skin soft and the new skin protected. For a minimum of one month after the peel procedure, client should not have hair removed by any technique.

Makeup application can be resumed 5-7 days after the peel, providing there is no presence of redness, irritation, tenderness, or crusting of the skin.

Avoid sun exposure - this includes tanning beds. Sunlight on the skin after a peel can cause brown discoloration of the new skin. A sunscreen of SPF 25 or higher should be applied every morning before going outdoors.
